This illustration originally had an entirely different color scheme planned.  At the time I made this illustration Lucy somehow acquired the power of the zodiac constellation Aquarius.  Aquarius has water-based attacks.  Due to her receiving these powers I had theorized that she might, in fact, be the new zodiac constellation celestial spirit while simultaneously existing as a celestial wizard.  I had thought that if she and Leo teamed up together they'd have a combo name for their attack.  Regulus from Leo's attacks and Tempest as a water-based attack name.  

I thought her outfit would be gold and navy, not unlike some of her outfits she was wearing at the time so that is why the original colors are thus. 

Once the official anime covered this arc and her real colors were revealed I used photoshop to edit the colors to be canonically accurate.  At this time I removed the whip's energy attack because it just looked terrible.  It was also at this time I edited both their clothes into something I like to call a "Wedding Theme."
