Funeral of a Rose: 2010

This was the start of everything.  I made this illustration based on an original story I've written, and it was the very first thing I drew with my tablet and photoshop.  I had no clue what pen-sensitivity was, how to blend colors, how to make proper lineart.  Nothing.  Since this was the beginning I feel that it must be in my portfolio to share with where I've been and how far I've come.  However, it is also a humbling reminder that I still have a long way to go.
